Water pulse engine creates “putt putt” noise while jetting steam from rear of boat and propelling it along. Steam is built up from the heat of a candle under the boiler of the boat. Candles that come with boat may be used or you can make your own liquid candle using sewing machine oil (or test out other non-combustible oils e.g. olive oil etc) and a small piece of cotton wool rolled into a wick. Once your boat has been internally primed with water, place boat in container, add heat source and wait about 10 seconds for the enjoyment to start. All boats come with instructions for use and liquid candle making process. This line of putt putt boat comes packaged in a gift box and has all the equipment required for immediate use – assorted colours available. 

If for any reason the boat does not go, empty water and reprime. If any small holes should ever appear in the steam circuit of the boat, a small amount of araldite will fix the problem.
